VALUE FOR YOU

 TOP THREE REASONS

Why Should You Study Japanese?

  1. Get into business with Japanese: With an incredible 364 billion dollars of investment capital Japan is currently the biggest foreign investor to Vietnam. The country is also the third most important Vietnamese trading partner. So, there is a lot of possibilities to hook up with Japanese business partners in Vietnam.

  2. Make your Japan trips more enjoyable: Vietnamese enjoy holidays in Japan very much. They love the culture, food and people of the island state. Albeit, when moving out of the urban centers it can be quite hard to find English speakers in Japan. Speaking Japanese will certainly help you to make more of your travels to and in Japan.

  3. Learn Japanese as a hobby: Many people simply enjoy studying Japanese just for the sake of the study. They are delighted to memorize Kanji (Chinese characters) and are reveling in the grammatical peculiarities of this language. By studying Japanese, many also seek to understand their favorite Mangas or Anime better.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO be able to SPEAK JAPANESE?

Japanese actually is not a difficult language to learn. The grammar and pronunciation is rather easy. Students should be able to lead a basic conversation after a few weeks of intensive studies.

Of course, the devil is in the detail. On an advanced level, there are roughly 2,000 Chinese characters (Kanji) that have to be learnt to read a Japanese newspaper. Also, there are a lot of rules and specific vocabulary regarding “polite speech” which not merely have to be remembered but should be internalized to fully participate in a sophisticated Japanese conversation.

Aya Kushida

About me

Hi! My name is Aya Kushida and I am heading this language school. I was born in a small town close to Nagoya city in Central Japan. After obtaining my university degree in intercultural communication I went to work for a mid-sized enterprise in Tokyo. However, I decided that this was not for me and so I went back to studying; this time language education. I finished this in 2010 and began teaching foreigners living in Tokyo. In 2012 I went to Berlin in Germany with my husband. There, I built up a small language school with five teachers. Since 2015 I am living in Hanoi with my two children (2/5 years old) and my husband.
